Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Adaptive Human Design collects, how it is used, when it is shared, and what choices you have around your birth details, chart data, report access, and purchase information.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to run the service and deliver your chart or report.
- Birth date, birth time, birth location, and generated chart information.
- Latitude, longitude, and time-zone related information used for chart calculation.
- Name and email address if you provide them for report delivery, checkout, or follow-up.
- Payment-session metadata returned by payment processors if paid reports or coaching are offered.
- Technical information such as browser, device, IP-derived logs, geocoding requests, first-party operational events, and sanitized error events.
- Browser storage used to keep form progress, report state, or saved preferences.
2. How We Use Information
We use your information to operate the product, including to:
- calculate your Human Design chart and generate report content;
- look up birth locations and determine the correct time zone;
- save and retrieve report records if that feature is enabled;
- process payments and verify successful checkout;
- send receipts, report-access information, or coaching-related communications;
- understand whether the form, report, PDF, checkout, and booking flow are working;
- debug, secure, and improve the service without using third-party browser ad tracking.
3. Payment Information
Card and wallet payments are processed by third-party providers such as Stripe, PayPal, or other checkout providers. We do not store full card numbers or full payment credentials on Adaptive Human Design servers. We may receive limited transaction information, such as confirmation of payment, payer email, or a processor-generated order or session ID.
4. Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Tools
The site uses browser storage to preserve your experience. That may include saved birth details, location selections, generated chart state, report IDs, access status, and checkout form fields so a refresh does not force you to start over. The site also logs first-party operational events, such as form starts, report calculation results, checkout clicks, PDF download attempts, and sanitized browser errors. Those event logs are used for reliability and funnel visibility, not advertising. Third-party providers may also use cookies or similar technologies when you interact with payment, geocoding, email, or hosted services.
See the Cookie Policy for more detail about the categories of storage we use.
5. When We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only when needed to:
- process payments through checkout providers;
- look up birth locations or time-zone data through geocoding services;
- host APIs, store report data, and deliver content through cloud providers;
- send report or coaching emails through email service providers;
- support security, fraud prevention, diagnostics, and service operations;
- comply with law, enforce terms, or protect rights and safety.
6. Retention
Information stored in your browser remains there until you clear it or overwrite it. Report records, birth-chart data, and purchase-related data may be retained on our backend systems for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or meet legal obligations.
7. Your Choices
You can:
- clear site data in your browser to remove locally stored birth details and preferences;
- decline to purchase a report if you do not want to provide checkout details;
- contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of stored personal data.
8. Children
Adaptive Human Design is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the service, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
9. International Use
Adaptive Human Design is operated from the United States and may be hosted or supported by service providers in the United States or other jurisdictions. If you access the site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in places where privacy laws differ from those in your location.
10. Legal Bases for Processing
Where privacy laws require a legal basis for processing, we may rely on your consent, performance of a contract or requested service, legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, compliance with legal obligations, or protection of vital interests where applicable. You may withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing, but that will not affect processing that already occurred or processing based on other lawful grounds.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so you use the service and submit information at your own risk. You should access the service only from a secure device and network.
12. Privacy Rights and Do Not Track
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection related to your personal information. You can contact us using the address below to make a privacy request, and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Some browsers offer Do Not Track signals. Because there is not yet a consistent industry standard for responding to these signals, we do not currently respond to them. If a standard is adopted that applies to us, we will update this policy.
13. Contact and Policy Changes
We may update this policy as the service evolves. The most current version will always be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
