Use the Authority in your own chart
Emotional Authority emphasizes noticing feelings over time. Sacral Authority emphasizes a present response to something concrete. Splenic Authority emphasizes a quiet immediate impression. Ego Authority asks about willingness and resources. Self-Projected Authority explores clarity through speaking. Mental or Environmental Authority uses surroundings and a trusted sounding board. Lunar Authority looks at how a larger decision feels across time. These are different prompts, not interchangeable scripts.
Separate an actual deadline from pressure
Write down when an answer is really needed, what information is missing, and who will be affected. Then try the practice in your Authority section. You can request time when it is available or make a responsible choice with the time you have. Waiting is not useful if it neglects an urgent practical need.
Keep a small record
For example, before agreeing to an optional project, note your available time and your initial response. Revisit the decision after using your chosen process. Record both what changed and what did not. A clear observation is more useful than deciding that you performed your Authority correctly.
